Tashkent, Uzbekistan – AN Podrobno.uz. Shukhratbek Kurbanov has been appointed head of the state enterprise Simple Smart Systems, which operates under the Central Bank.

He announced his appointment on LinkedIn.

According to Kurbanov, the company will focus on technological transformation of the small and medium-sized business financing market. Despite its state status, the organization will operate on startup principles. The goal is not incremental improvements but a complete overhaul of the financial market, similar to the launch of the HUMO payment system.

The first project is a unified platform where micro-enterprises and businesses can competitively attract funds from various commercial banks. The second is the development of a scoring system based on artificial intelligence and machine learning. Algorithms will assess clients' solvency using large data sets, eliminating manual expertise where automation is possible. Management has invited banks to partner in creating a new business infrastructure.
