The press service of the Tax Committee announced that the list of agricultural goods subject to zero VAT has been expanded. The updated list now includes 14 additional items.
New additions include live fish, live calves, cows, bulls, sheep, goats, horses, camels, donkeys, bee colonies (packages), silkworms, as well as ferula seedlings and its resin.
For reference: the total list of zero-VAT goods now comprises 518 items. It includes apples, pears, apricots, peaches, persimmons, watermelons, melons, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, potatoes, legumes and grains such as mung beans, chickpeas, rice, as well as milk, cream, cottage cheese, eggs, fresh, chilled and frozen meat products, fish and seafood, seeds, seedlings, and flowers.
According to legislation, changes and additions to the list can be made. Proposals may be submitted by the Joqargi Kenes of Karakalpakstan, regional hokimiyats, or entities producing agricultural products.
