Wind speeds will range from 7−12 m/s, with gusts up to 13−18 m/s in some places. In the Bukhara, Navoi, Tashkent, Jizzakh, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, and Fergana regions, winds may intensify to 20−22 m/s, accompanied by dust storms.
Temperatures will hover between +25°C and +30°C. In Tashkent, intermittent rain and thunderstorms are expected, with winds of 3−8 m/s and gusts up to 12−14 m/s. The temperature will be +25…+27°C.
In foothill and mountainous areas, rain will be intermittent but heavy in places, with thunderstorms. Mudflows and flash floods are possible. Winds will be 7−12 m/s, with gusts up to 15−20 m/s. Temperatures will range from +15°C to +20°C.
On Monday, May 18, strong winds caused trees to fall and damaged roofs and other structures in several regions. In Termez, dust led to increased air pollution. In the Jizzakh region, large hailstones measuring 10−15 mm in diameter were observed.
