A resident of Fergana, Khadichabonu Khabibullaeva, committed a new crime while serving a previous sentence of restricted freedom. On January 9, 2026, she engaged in pimping in her apartment, receiving 300,000 soums and $200, and was arrested during a police operation.
On March 17, 2026, the Fergana City Criminal Court found Khabibullaeva guilty under Article 131, Part 1 of the Criminal Code (pimping or maintaining brothels). Partially adding her previous sentence for a traffic accident, she was sentenced to 2.5 years of restricted freedom. She was also banned from driving any vehicle for 2 years.
The woman was prohibited from leaving her home at any time except for work or study. However, Khabibullaeva violated these restrictions. On April 8, 2026, at 9:15 PM, probation officers found her absent from home. She received a disciplinary warning. On April 24, 2026, at 9:00 PM, she was again absent. The court then replaced the remaining restricted freedom (2 years, 5 months, 4 days) with imprisonment in a penal colony.
Earlier, on October 11, 2025, Khabibullaeva, driving without a license, hit 31-year-old Dilafruz Sayfullaeva, her 3-year-old son Yasinboy, and 2.5-year-old niece Khadiya on a pedestrian crossing. The impact threw them several meters. The court initially ordered Khabibullaeva to pay 280,000 soums in material damages. However, the appellate court changed this, ordering 100 million soums in moral damages and 3,351,000 soums in material damages to the legal representative of the minor victims.
