Uzbekistan has fully digitalized the customs control process for international courier shipments. Citizens can now independently confirm or reject shipments addressed to them through the Unified Interactive State Services Portal — my.gov.uz.
The new system aims to simplify customs procedures related to international courier shipments and promptly notify citizens about cargoes registered in their name.
When an international shipment is registered in a citizen's name, a push notification is sent to their personal account on the my.gov.uz portal. Users can view the shipment's name, price, weight, and other details online, and then confirm or reject it.
It is noted that the system will allow citizens to prevent unauthorized persons from sending goods under their name, as well as speed up the customs clearance process.
The service (“Confirmation or rejection of a notification about an international courier shipment”) is available on the my.gov.uz portal under the “Customs” section. If the shipment was indeed ordered by the citizen, they select the “Confirm” button. If the order does not belong to them or there is an error in the data, the shipment can be rejected.
Citizens are advised to confirm only those shipments they are certain belong to them. Otherwise, problems with tax or customs payments may arise in the future.
The service operates 24/7. Rejected shipments are immediately reflected in the customs system.
In December 2025, the my.gov.uz portal introduced the ability to obtain information about international courier shipments. Through this service, citizens can view online data on the remaining customs limit for the current month, the name, number, weight, and value of the shipment, as well as the sender and courier organization with their TIN.
