The National Agency for Prospective Projects (NAPP) of Uzbekistan has revoked the license issued to the foreign enterprise Kobea Group (South Korea) to operate the UzNEX cryptocurrency exchange.
According to the regulator's statement, the license, which was granted on February 22, 2024, was canceled at the request of the company.

UzNEX was reportedly launched in January 2020. It was the first cryptocurrency exchange in Uzbekistan and the entire region.
The exchange's website states that services have been suspended due to server maintenance.
According to the Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations, Kobea Group was registered in January 2019 with an authorized capital of approximately 4.24 billion soums. Its main activity is brokerage services for securities and commodity contracts. The head of the company is listed as Lee Chang-yeon.
