Uzbekistan has proposed to strengthen control over the sale of prescription drugs and labeled goods by requiring their details to be included in electronic receipts.

A draft resolution amending government decisions has been published on the portal for discussion of regulatory legal acts. The discussion will last until June 6.

One proposal concerns pharmacies: when selling prescription drugs, the electronic prescription number would be mandatory on the cash receipt. This is intended to link drug sales to the electronic accounting system.

The draft also addresses digital labeling and online cash registers. Specifically, it proposes to clarify the procedure for working with electronic receipts and control over the circulation of labeled goods.

Earlier, it was reported that remote control over digital labeling of goods is being introduced in the republic.
