The 35th session of the United Nations Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice took place in Vienna, bringing together over 1,500 high-ranking officials and experts from 175 countries. This year, Uzbekistan became a member of this authoritative international body for the first time.

The Uzbek delegation, led by Presidential Administration head Saida Mirziyoyeva, was the first among 175 participating states to present a national report. In her speech, Mirziyoyeva highlighted key reform areas in the republic, including justice system improvements, protection of women's and children's rights, crime prevention, and youth support.

Special attention was given to strengthening measures against domestic violence, corruption, and cybercrime. According to Mirziyoyeva, threats such as cybercrime and corruption know no borders, so combating them requires constant dialogue and exchange of experience between countries.
