The Uzbekistan Football Association has officially announced the final 26-man squad for the national team's debut at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The roster includes 3 goalkeepers, 10 defenders, 10 midfielders, and 3 forwards.
Goalkeepers: O'tkir Yusupov, Abduvohid Ne'matov, Botirali Ergashev. Defenders: Abduqodir Husanov, Hojiakbar Alijonov, Farruh Sayfiyev, Rustam Ashurmatov, Umar Eshmurodov, Sherzod Nasrullayev, Abdulla Abdullayev, Avazbek O'lmasaliyev, Jahongir O'rozov, Behruz Karimov.
Midfielders: Akmal Mozgovoy, Otabek Shukurov, Jamshid Iskanderov, Odil Hamrobekov, Jaloliddin Masharipov, Oston O'runov, Dostonbek Hamdamov, Aziz G'aniyev, Abbosbek Fayzullayev, Sherzod Esanov. Forwards: Eldor Shomurodov, Igor Sergeyev, Azizbek Omonov.
Previously, a 30-man expanded squad was taken to the United States for friendly matches. Four players – Sherzod Temirov, Jasur Jaloliddinov, Ruslanbek Jiyanov, and Umarali Rahmonaliyev – were cut from the final list.
Uzbekistan will play its first World Cup match on June 18 at 8:00 AM Tashkent time in Mexico against Colombia. This marks the country's historic debut in the tournament.
