Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. Students enrolled in pedagogical programs in Uzbekistan will now undergo annual external testing, the results of which will not affect their grades.

The Ministry of Justice has registered the procedure for conducting external diagnostics of knowledge for pedagogy students. According to the document, the assessment will be held once a year among third-year students.

The test consists of 50 questions to be completed within 45 minutes. Each correct answer earns 2 points, with a maximum possible score of 100.

If the average score for a program is 56 points or higher, it will be considered "meeting requirements." If the result is lower, the program will be deemed "non-compliant."

However, the test results will not influence students' current academic performance or their rating scores. The assessment is intended to evaluate how well future teachers are being trained and to identify weak points in the system.

Earlier, a new increased scholarship named after Abdullah Avloni was introduced for students of pedagogical universities in Uzbekistan.
