The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched a mobile application that allows citizens of the country living abroad or planning trips to receive consular services remotely, the Dunyo news agency reports.

The app features a unified database of Uzbekistan's diplomatic missions and consular offices. Users can find addresses, contact information, and locations of embassies and consulates, as well as determine which consular district covers their country or region of stay.

The service is currently operating in test mode. In the first phase, the app enables users to obtain a certificate for returning to Uzbekistan and to register for temporary or permanent consular registration. Plans are in place to expand the list of electronic services in the future.

The app also includes an automatic form-filling system for questionnaires and applications, automatically completing about 80% of mandatory fields. Additionally, it features a section with information on visa requirements of foreign countries for Uzbek citizens.

The app is available for download on Google Play and App Store platforms.
