A large fire broke out on the evening of June 16 in the Soy boyi mahalla of Yozyovon district, Fergana region.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire damaged 60 square meters of an abandoned non-residential building and three vehicles — a Labo, a Hyundai, and a Mercedes-Benz.

Two people were killed and three others sustained injuries of varying severity.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Officials from the regional emergency department and district services have arrived at the scene.
