A video circulating on social media shows a man brutally beating a young boy in the Andijan region of Uzbekistan, sparking widespread public outrage. Law enforcement authorities quickly identified the attacker, brought him to the police department, and commented on the situation.

According to the press service of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident occurred in the Shakhrikhan district. On June 18 at 3:05 PM, a 46-year-old local resident called the short number "102" reporting that his 9-year-old son had been physically injured. Police officers immediately arrived at the scene and launched an investigation.

The preliminary inquiry established that a conflict broke out between two 9-year-old boys, escalating into a fight. The father of one of the children, a 37-year-old man, intervened but instead of separating the boys, he struck the other child several times, causing injuries.

The man's identity was confirmed, and he was taken to the police department for further proceedings. Officers of the Shakhrikhan district police department are currently conducting a pre-investigation check. All circumstances of the incident are being carefully examined, and a legal assessment of the actions of all participants will be provided in accordance with the law.

Additional information will be released upon completion of the investigation. Earlier, in the Fergana region, a man was detained for taking the law into his own hands at an educational institution. Defending his son, he struck the offending classmate and brutally beat the boy's mother.
