In Chirchik, Tashkent region, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations rescued a man who was being carried away by the current of the Bozsu canal. The victim was unconscious, but thanks to the timely actions of the rescuers, he was brought back to consciousness.

According to the ministry, the incident occurred the day before at around 1:00 PM on a section of the Bozsu canal passing through the territory of the 'Sharq' mahalla. During a preventive patrol, rescuers noticed a person floating motionless downstream.

They immediately jumped into the water, pulled him ashore, and provided first aid. After resuscitation measures, the man regained consciousness. It is reported that his condition is now not a cause for concern.

Preliminary investigation suggests he accidentally fell into the canal. Unable to swim, the man could not get out on his own and was at the mercy of the strong current.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations urged residents to observe safety measures near water bodies and canals.
