Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. Uzbekistan is hosting the Asian Mountain Bike Championship for the first time. The 33rd continental championship has brought together over 200 athletes from 18 countries.

According to Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, who announced the news on her Telegram channel, this event is another recognition of the country's sports development and the creation of opportunities for youth. She wished the participants success and the spectators unforgettable impressions.

"I am confident that this championship will become an arena for new records, strong friendships, and unforgettable victories," Narbayeva wrote.

Earlier, the women's fencing team of Uzbekistan won bronze medals in the team sabre competition at the Asian Championship in India. The tournament brought Uzbekistan not only medals but also recognition at the level of the refereeing corps.
