Over 40 individuals have been caught illegally dumping construction waste from vehicles in Tashkent city and Tashkent region during raids conducted by the State Environmental Control Inspectorate under the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change.
The majority of violations occurred in Tashkent region. In the Yukorichirchik, Kuychirchik, Zangiata, and Kibray districts, 23 people used personal trucks to dump construction waste in unauthorized locations.
In the capital, inspectors identified another 18 violators. Of these, five cases were recorded in the Yangihayot district, two in the Yunusabad district, and 11 in the Sergeli district.
The agency also reported that one driver was caught illegally dumping waste for a second time — he had previously been held accountable for a similar violation within the past year.
All materials have been forwarded to law enforcement authorities. The violators face potential liability, including confiscation of the vehicles used in the offenses.
