The 7th conference of the Uzbekistan Journalists Union took place in Tashkent, where the organization's activities for 2021–2025 were reviewed.

Delegates approved the union's development concept for 2026–2030, elected a new board and audit commission, and made amendments to the charter.

The key personnel decision was the election of new leadership. Shukhrat Oripov was elected Chairman of the Board of the Uzbekistan Journalists Union. Dilshod Buriyev and Shahribonu Imamova were approved as deputy chairmen.
