Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. Specialists from the Sanitary and Epidemiological Committee's Uchtepa district department, together with the veterinary and sanitary examination laboratory, conducted a raid at the Farkhad market.

During the inspection, they discovered 17 kilograms of minced meat with altered organoleptic properties and unknown origin. The product was deemed unfit for consumption and rejected in accordance with established procedures.

The Sanitary and Epidemiological Committee reminded citizens not to buy ready-made minced meat if the place and time of preparation are unknown, or if the product is sold in the open air without proper control.

Earlier, it was reported that the sale of dangerous melons with high nitrate levels was stopped at the same Farkhad market, with 21 kilograms of produce removed from sale.
