On Tuesday, June 30, a meeting was held between Kyrgyzstan's Finance Minister Ruslan Suynaliev and Uzbekistan's Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov.

During the dialogue, the sides noted that thanks to the political will of the heads of the two states, based on friendship, good neighborliness and mutual trust, socio-economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan is consistently developing, opening new opportunities for expanding ties in the financial sphere.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed issues of further development of socio-economic cooperation, strengthening bilateral relations and expanding areas of practical partnership. The important role of establishing regular dialogue in the financial sphere, mutual exchange of experience and promotion of joint initiatives was emphasized.

Special attention was paid to improving the public financial management system, developing the social insurance system, ensuring its financial stability and strengthening social protection of the population. In this context, the sides considered prospects for institutional exchange of experience, including organizing consultations between specialists, conducting seminars and launching training programs.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed readiness to further expand socio-economic cooperation, continue regular consultations and develop practical contacts in mutual interests.
