In the Yakkabog district of the Kashkadarya region, a case of rape of a minor girl by four men has been uncovered. The anti-violence project Nemolchi.uz reported this, citing the press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Shokhrukh Giyasov.
According to the report, on June 7, Sh.Kh. (23), D.Kh. (22), O.N. (20), and D.A. (21) allegedly forced a 14-year-old girl into a Damas car, drove her to a field, and raped her. An investigative team from the Yakkabog District Internal Affairs Department inspected the scene and collected evidence.
Forensic medical, biological, and psychological examinations have been ordered. On June 8, a criminal case was opened under Part 1 of Article 128 of the Criminal Code (Sexual intercourse with a person under sixteen).
On June 29, the case was reclassified under Article 118, Part 3, item “a” (Rape of a person under eighteen). The suspects have been charged and taken into custody. The Investigation Department has taken control of the case.
The National Social Protection Agency announced that the situation is under control. The victim, identified as S.T., has received psychological support, and her mother, H.G., has been provided legal assistance. Social workers have opened a case file and conducted an initial survey.
