A six-year-old boy from Uzbekistan's Fergana region was left alone in Moscow after his parents, who were in Russia in violation of migration rules, were deported from the country.
According to the Migration Agency, the boy was temporarily staying with neighbors until information about his situation reached the relevant authorities.
The child's return was organized by employees of the Migration Agency's branch in the Fergana region and the agency's representative office in Moscow.
The boy was brought to Uzbekistan accompanied by airline staff. At the airport, he was met and handed over to relatives.
The Migration Agency reminded that violation of stay rules abroad can have severe consequences not only for the migrants themselves but also for their children.
Earlier, another minor citizen of Uzbekistan detained in Moscow was returned to the country.
