According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan has 22,670 registered artisans.

The highest number of artisans is in Tashkent city — 2,959 people.

Fergana region follows with 2,702, Samarkand region with 2,185, Andijan region with 2,108, and Namangan region with 2,030.

Khorezm region has 1,907, Tashkent region 1,790, Kashkadarya region 1,557, and Bukhara region 1,531.

Jizzakh region has 1,048, Republic of Karakalpakstan 963, and Surkhandarya region 960.

The lowest numbers are in Syrdarya region (474) and Navoi region (456).
