The body of a 21-year-old Uzbek citizen has been found in a river in Turkey's Mugla province after he went missing while swimming. The young man left home and headed to the river, but failed to return.

His father discovered his personal belongings and clothes on the riverbank and immediately alerted emergency services. Gendarmerie, medical teams, water police, search and rescue units, and coast guard divers arrived at the scene.

Rescuers located the body in the water and sent it to a morgue for forensic examination. An investigation into the tragedy is currently underway.
