On July 1, 2026, China celebrated the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). President Xi Jinping delivered a major speech outlining the party's glorious history, great achievements, and the direction of China's high-quality development.

Without the leadership of the CCP, there would be no China today – a truth deeply understood by every Chinese. The pursuit of happiness for the Chinese people and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is the original mission of the CCP, serving as the logical starting point for all struggles and achievements over 105 years.

Over a century of governance, the CCP has always adhered to the principle that each country's history, culture, and conditions are unique, so there is no one-size-fits-all development model. Under President Mirziyoyev, the construction of 'New Uzbekistan' is accelerating. China and Uzbekistan are good neighbors and close partners, learning from each other.

Adhering to the principle of 'people-centered development': In the past 10 years, China has lifted nearly 100 million people out of poverty and built the world's largest education, social security, and healthcare systems. This aligns with President Mirziyoyev's approach to improving living standards. Chinese doctors perform free surgeries on children with congenital heart defects in Uzbekistan, and joint programs on poverty alleviation and agricultural modernization are underway.

Political resolve for self-purification: The CCP wages a tough fight against corruption, strengthens discipline, and improves oversight. Uzbekistan has also made anti-corruption a priority: independent agencies have been established, legislation improved, and government transparency introduced. China and Uzbekistan actively exchange experiences, viewing 'clean governance' as a guarantee of successful reforms.

Commitment to independence and mutually beneficial cooperation: The CCP bases national development on its own strengths, implementing five-year plans. Uzbekistan is implementing its 'Uzbekistan – 2030' strategy. Under the Belt and Road Initiative, the sides are deepening cooperation on the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, modernizing transport infrastructure, and developing digital technologies.

Commitment to justice, openness, and inclusiveness internationally: China has proposed initiatives on global development, security, civilization, and governance. Uzbekistan actively supports these initiatives, adheres to multilateralism, and advocates dialogue. The sides coordinate within the UN, SCO, and other mechanisms.

Inter-party contacts are a key component of the strategic partnership. A regular dialogue platform has been established on party building, legislation, and governance. Ties are developing between think tanks, public organizations, and youth.

This year marks the 105th anniversary of the CCP and the start of China's 15th Five-Year Plan. China will focus on new productive forces, high-level technological self-reliance, and modern industry. Uzbekistan celebrates 35 years of independence. China remains a reliable partner in building 'New Uzbekistan' and jointly building a community with a shared future.
