Criminal cases have been initiated in the Tashkent region, the city of Quvasoy, and Pakhtaabad district against individuals who fraudulently obtained tens of thousands of US dollars.

A pre-investigation check by the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office in the Tashkent region found that citizen M.A. fraudulently obtained $12,000 from two citizens under the pretext of sending them to Korea.

In Quvasoy, citizen D.R. allegedly obtained $11,000 by promising to enroll a citizen in a Korean university and obtain a visa. A refund of $200 was processed procedurally.

In Pakhtaabad district, citizen Kh.M. allegedly obtained $4,945 from two citizens under the pretext of processing documents for their travel to Canada and Korea.

Criminal cases have been opened under relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are underway.
