In January–May 2026, Uzbekistan manufactured 190,480 passenger cars, an increase of 19,300 units compared to the same period last year, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The most produced model was the Cobalt, with 69,302 units, accounting for nearly one-third of total output.
Production breakdown by brand: Cobalt – 69,302, Damas – 35,269, Tracker – 18,519, Onix – 15,157, KIA – 11,128, BYD – 10,120, Haval – 4,038, Chery – 3,156, and special passenger cars – 23,791.
The Cobalt significantly outpaced other models, representing about 36% of all passenger cars produced in the period.
