After a brief period of relatively cool weather, summer heat is returning to Uzbekistan. According to weather forecasters, from July 6 to 11, air temperatures will gradually rise to 40-42°C.

This week, Uzbekistan will see mostly clear skies with no precipitation. Brief thunderstorms are possible only in some foothill and mountainous areas.

Temperatures will gradually increase to typical July levels. Today, daytime temperatures will reach 34-37°C, and in the following days, daytime temperatures will be 37-40°C. The hottest weather is expected in the north, south, and desert zones – from 39 to 42°C.

Easterly winds of 7-12 meters per second are expected, with gusts up to 15 meters per second in some places. Dust devils are possible in some areas.

In Tashkent, from July 6 to 11, mostly clear weather with no precipitation is also expected. Easterly winds of 3-8 meters per second, with gusts up to 10-12 meters per second in some places.

Daytime temperatures today and tomorrow will be 35-38°C, then gradually rise to 38-40°C. Nighttime temperatures will be 22-25°C.
