️ President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a report on the oil and gas sector's preparation for the autumn-winter season. Following the presentation, the Ministry of Energy stated that the country's oil product reserves are sufficient for the next 2-3 months.

️ According to the official statement, a reserve of 120,000 tons of gasoline is planned to be created by December-January. During the heating season, thermal power plants are expected to receive 4.161 million tons of coal.

️ First Deputy Minister of Energy Umid Mamadaminov noted that in the current geopolitical situation, it is important not only to build up oil product reserves but also to develop domestic production capacities. Currently, Uzbekistan's oil product production exceeds 1.2 million tons, with an additional 600,000-700,000 tons imported by private entrepreneurs.

️ "I can confidently say that our reserves are sufficient for the next two to three months," Mamadaminov said in an interview with Uzbekistan 24 TV channel. He added that a separate plan for fuel supply, logistics, electricity, and gas supply has been prepared for the autumn-winter season. These issues are discussed weekly at the Ministry of Energy.

️ Earlier, it was reported that President Mirziyoyev had heard a report on the oil and gas sector's winter preparation, which covered repair of gas networks, formation of fuel reserves, and readiness of emergency recovery teams.
