The National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change has reported that violations related to the burning of vegetation on fields after wheat harvesting are being detected using aerospace data.

According to the results of space monitoring conducted by the Uzbekcosmos agency, fire incidents were recorded on 744 wheat field plots. Based on this data, territorial environmental police brought 172 violators to administrative responsibility.

The total amount of fines imposed was 212.5 million soums. Additionally, damage to nature was calculated at 652.3 million soums.

Furthermore, during control measures to prevent the burning of stubble, dry leaves, branches, and other plant residues, as well as construction waste in fields and populated areas, 9,821 violations have been identified to date, for which protocols have been drawn up.
