UFC fighter from Uzbekistan, Bogdan Guskov, will compete in his next bout against former organization champion, Russian Magomed Ankalaev.

According to reports, Khalil Rountree is unable to participate in the main event of the UFC tournament in Abu Dhabi on July 25 at Etihad Arena due to injury. Replacing him, Uzbekistan's representative Bogdan Guskov, currently ranked 10th in the light heavyweight division, will step into the octagon against number one contender Magomed Ankalaev.

Guskov boasts 18 professional wins, all by finish, with 13 coming in the first round. This fight marks his first main event appearance in the UFC.

Guskov's last fight was a draw against Jan Błachowicz at UFC 323 in December 2025. A rematch was originally scheduled for August 1 at UFC Fight Night. Overall, the Uzbek fighter has 4 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw in 6 UFC bouts.

His opponent, Magomed Ankalaev, last fought at UFC 320 in October 2025, defeating Alex Pereira by technical knockout in the first round to win the championship belt. In his professional career, Ankalaev has 20 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw, and 1 no contest in 24 fights.
