Uzbekistan has decided to create a Higher School of Integrated Programs under the Tashkent University of Architecture and Construction. The government resolution aims to introduce joint programs and expand cooperation with foreign universities.

The new structure will serve as a platform for implementing international educational models and fostering partnerships with leading foreign universities. Previously, the country established the Center for International Qualifications and Assessment together with the British organization IQF, whose functions are now being expanded.

These include ensuring integrated programs meet academic requirements of universities in the top 100 of QS and THE rankings; developing joint educational models recognized by foreign universities (formats "1+3" and "2+2" for bachelor's, "1+1" for master's); and preparing agreements to establish campuses, branches, and educational centers of leading foreign universities in Uzbekistan.

The Higher School will allow students to study according to international standards, enhancing their competitiveness in the global labor market.

Additionally, Tashkent is considering a project to create an International University City, modeled after Education City in Qatar and similar clusters in the UAE and South Korea. Incentives in licensing, taxes, and grants are planned to attract foreign universities.
