Uzbekistan and China continue to strengthen cultural ties. In Hong Kong, an agreement was signed between the Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan and the Hong Kong Palace Museum, establishing a long-term partnership.

The parties plan to organize joint exhibitions, launch scientific projects, share expertise in museum management, and collaborate on preserving historical heritage. The agreement also includes specialist exchanges and personnel training.

The document was signed by Center Director Firdavs Abdukhalikov and Hong Kong Palace Museum Director Louis Ng during an Uzbek delegation visit to China.

The agreement covers joint work in museum affairs, restoration and preservation of cultural valuables, scientific research, international exhibitions, specialist training, and professional experience exchange.

The new partnership marks another step in the development of cultural diplomacy between Uzbekistan and China. The cooperation is expected to help showcase the rich historical and spiritual heritage of Central Asia on an international museum platform.

Earlier, Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved a plan for the global promotion of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan and its further development.
