Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced the launch of a 'crucial 40-day campaign' during a video conference meeting on the results of socio-economic development in the first half of the year and priority tasks until year-end. The new system will be implemented in 2,000 of the most problematic mahallas (neighborhoods).

Agreements between khokims (governors), mahalla chairpersons, and employment services have been revised with clear distribution of responsibilities. Khokims will bear personal responsibility for timely resolution of electricity, gas, and water supply issues, as well as road conditions in these mahallas.

Employment system employees are tasked with training needy citizens in in-demand professions, assisting in job placement, and increasing their incomes.

Local leaders have been instructed to intensify beautification work: tidying up streets and houses, organizing tree planting, and cleaning canals in all 8,992 mahallas across the country.

The president emphasized that the new system should bring real changes in people's lives, and its effectiveness will be assessed not by reports but by tangible results felt by residents.
