Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz. Starting July 22, the high-speed train 'Jaloliddin Manguberdi' will begin operating a second service on the Tashkent-Khiva-Tashkent route.

According to Uzbekistan Railways, the additional train is being introduced to cope with growing passenger traffic. The train will run several times a week: from Tashkent to Khiva on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and in the opposite direction on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Departure from Tashkent Central Station is scheduled for 07:00, and from Khiva at 07:15. The journey will take 7 hours and 36 minutes.

To date, three electric trains have been delivered to the country. The first train began operating on the Tashkent-Khiva-Tashkent route on May 5, 2026, and the second will enter service on July 22.

The expansion of the high-speed train fleet is being carried out under a decree by the President of Uzbekistan. According to the document, in cooperation with the Export-Import Bank of Korea, six modern Hyundai Rotem high-speed electric trains are being purchased for the country.
