Major enterprises and organizations in Belarus are offering hundreds of job vacancies for citizens of Uzbekistan. According to the Migration Agency, the project allows citizens not only to get official employment but also to live in Belarus with their family members.
The offered vacancies cover construction, agriculture, tractor and truck driving, forestry, livestock farming, excavator operation, veterinary medicine, welding, and metal processing. Salaries start from $700 per month depending on the candidate's professional qualifications and work experience, with higher pay for highly skilled specialists.
Citizens aged 18 to 50 can participate in the program. Applicants for driving and special equipment positions must have relevant driver's licenses or qualification documents. However, citizens banned from entering the Russian Federation cannot participate in this program.
The employer covers airfare or travel expenses to Belarus, free accommodation, and costs related to document processing. The Migration Agency emphasized that citizens who travel to Belarus independently may face difficulties finding suitable jobs, while organized employment through the agency ensures a reliable employer, official labor contract, and safe working conditions under state supervision.

It is worth recalling that in July, following the state visit of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Belarus, an agreement was signed between the two countries on organized recruitment of citizens for temporary labor activities in Belarus. During the negotiations, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko noted the labor shortage in the country and invited Uzbeks to come work and live in Belarus with their families.
Under the agreements reached during Mirziyoyev's visit, a “road map” was approved between Andijan and Vitebsk regions. As part of its implementation, 255 citizens of Andijan region were sent to Vitebsk region in an organized manner. However, later, video appeals circulated on social media in which some labor migrants from this group complained about unpaid promised wages. The Migration Agency then stated that the situation was being investigated and that workers would be transferred to other jobs if the terms of the labor contract were not fulfilled.
