In accordance with a decision by the Tashkent City Council of People's Deputies, a 350-year-old white mulberry tree (Morus alba) located in the Moviy Gumbazlar park in the Yakkasaray district has been officially recognized as a state natural monument.

Deputies from the city and district councils, representatives of the Tashkent Main Department of Ecology and Climate Change, and the Yakkasaray district administration conducted an on-site inspection of the tree's condition. Together with specialists, they discussed measures to preserve the natural monument and provide necessary care without harming its natural state.

Specifically, it was decided to install fencing around the tree, improve the surrounding area, create conditions to protect the tree from external impacts, and set up information signs indicating that it is a specially protected natural object.

Additionally, considering the historical and ecological significance of the area, the need to tidy up the territory around the tree, preserve the existing green zone, and foster a careful attitude among the population towards the natural monument was emphasized.

It was determined that the implementation of these measures will be under deputy and public control.
