According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan commissioned 7.7 million square meters of individual housing in the first half of 2026, marking a 7.2% increase compared to the same period last year.

The Tashkent region led with 984.1 thousand square meters, followed by the Bukhara region with 978.5 thousand square meters. Other notable figures include Khorezm (797.0 thousand), Surkhandarya (699.9 thousand), Namangan (697.1 thousand), and Fergana (691.2 thousand square meters).

Kashkadarya saw 510.4 thousand square meters, Tashkent city 493.3 thousand, and Karakalpakstan 463.7 thousand. Jizzakh reported 396.7 thousand, Andijan 373.8 thousand, and Navoi 353.7 thousand square meters.

The lowest volumes were recorded in Samarkand (200.3 thousand) and Syrdarya (63.2 thousand square meters), highlighting significant regional disparities in construction activity.
