Octobank has announced that its corporate clients can now conduct conversion operations and make payments in 16 key currencies, collectively known as G16.

The G16 basket covers currencies of major trade routes across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region: AED, CNH, SGD, EUR, GBP, CHF, PLN, CZK, SEK, NOK, DKK, CAD, MXN, AUD, NZD, and JPY.

This development allows businesses to settle transactions with foreign counterparts directly in the currency specified in their foreign trade contracts, eliminating the need for multiple conversions.

“International trade is becoming increasingly multi-currency. A company may have a supplier in China, a partner in the UAE, and a client in Europe — each requiring their own settlement currency. Therefore, the task of a modern bank is not just to process international payments, but to create infrastructure that allows businesses to conveniently operate across different markets. If a bank helps a company move faster, it truly is a reliable partner,” said Bakhodir Mirzaev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Octobank.

Settlements are conducted online. Conversion operations and international payments are available through Octobank’s internet banking platform. Clients do not need to visit a branch; applications and transactions are processed digitally.

Octobank positions itself as a partner that enables businesses to confidently move forward, explore new markets, and grow. Together towards results!
