A nurse at a family clinic in Tashkent's Sergeli district has allegedly demanded $300 from the wife of actor and blogger Musulmon Yunusov to process disability status for their minor daughter. The artist publicly called on Shahnoza Mirziyoyeva, first deputy director of the National Social Protection Agency, to take personal control of the situation and verify the actions of district services.

According to Yunusov, the money was requested in late May or early June after documents were submitted to the Sergeli district Medical-Labor Expert Commission. The funds, the actor claims, were demanded to extend the child's disability status until age 18 and officially appoint the mother as the caregiver.

Yunusov stressed that the issue is not the amount itself, as he would have tried to find the money, but that many families with disabled children cannot afford such expenses. He expressed concern that such practices may be widespread.

Later, the child's disability was officially registered, but the mother was not appointed as the caregiver. According to the father, the girl cannot care for herself and requires constant assistance.

In his appeal, the actor requested an investigation to determine whether other families face similar extortion when processing disability for children. As of now, Yunusov's statement has not been officially confirmed, and the circumstances are to be established by competent authorities.
