From September 2 to 8, Uzbekistan is holding 'Museum Week', during which citizens can visit 114 state museums, museum-reserves, and house-museums under the Cultural Heritage Agency free of charge.

The Cultural Heritage Agency noted that the campaign allows citizens to get acquainted with history, art, and national heritage, as well as learn new facts about unique exhibits and ancient monuments. The agency invited all residents to take advantage of this opportunity.

'Museum Week' has been held annually in Uzbekistan since 2014, in accordance with a Cabinet of Ministers resolution. Traditionally, free access to state museum institutions is organized for the population during this event.
