President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Serbia for an official visit. At the welcoming ceremony, he was warmly received by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

A guard of honor was formed in honor of the distinguished guest. The military orchestra performed the national anthems of Uzbekistan and Serbia, and a ten-gun artillery salute was fired.

The heads of state reviewed the guard of honor and greeted members of the official delegations. After a joint photo session, high-level talks began.

The main events of the official visit will take place today. Following the high-level talks, a business forum will be held with the participation of representatives from official and business circles of both countries.

A substantial package of bilateral documents is expected to be signed at the end of the talks, which is intended to strengthen cooperation between Uzbekistan and Serbia.
