Uzbekistan is commemorating the 79th birth anniversary of Bahodir Yoldoshev, a renowned theater director and actor. Born on September 7, 1945, in Kattakurgan, Samarkand region, Yoldoshev graduated from the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute and began his career at the Hamza Theater in 1968.

From 1974 to 1984, he worked at the Hamza Theater, and from 1984, he served as the chief director at the Abror Hidoyatov Drama Theater. His directorial works include notable productions such as "The Revolt of Brides," "Farmonbibi Got Offended," "Starry Nights," "Maysara's Affair," "Black Belt," "Death of a Usurer," and "Iskander."

Yoldoshev also made significant contributions to cinema. He appeared in films like "Fiery Roads" (1977–1984), "Meeting at High Snows" (1981), "Coup According to Instruction 107" (1982), "Long Echo in the Mountains" (1985–1986), "Diamond Belt," and "Dragon Hunt."

Additionally, he acted in movies such as "Bitterness of Fall" and "The Giant and the Dwarf." Yoldoshev passed away in 2021, leaving behind a rich artistic legacy.
