The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced a new procedure for electronic notification of drivers regarding fines for traffic violations.
As part of the "Safe City" concept implementation, a pilot system has been established in the republic for sending copies of decisions on fines for traffic violations recorded by special automated photo and video recording devices through the following channels:
Immediately after the decision is issued, an SMS notification is sent to number 6079.
If the SMS notification is not received, it is necessary to visit the my.gov.uz portal and register your phone number — after which all notifications will be sent automatically.
The use of these digital services is not time-limited, does not require additional registration or document submission. Immediately after the decision is issued, it is possible to review all materials and pay the fine within the legally established deadlines.
Previously, "Uzbekiston Pochtasi" JSC reported that from March 1, 2026, the delivery of administrative protocols (fine letters) issued by the Public Safety Department for traffic violations will be suspended. The reason for the suspension was cited as the lack of a contract for 2026 from the State Institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the development of "Safe City" systems.
