Uzbek grandmaster Javokhir Sindarov has risen to second place in the world Live Rapid rankings. His rating reached 2742.6 points, according to AН Podrobno.uz.

Sindarov jumped four positions, gaining 10.6 rating points. He surpassed Ian Nepomniachtchi, Hikaru Nakamura, and Alireza Firouzja. Only Magnus Carlsen is ranked higher than the Uzbek player.

Another representative of Uzbekistan, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, dropped one spot and now occupies 13th place. His rating stands at 2704.4 points. Thus, two Uzbek grandmasters are currently in the top 15.

The Live Rapid rating is updated in real time, so players' positions can change after each game played.

Earlier, it was reported that the Uzbekistan men's team climbed to sixth place in the FIDE world rankings for the first time.
