The body of the second of three family members who drowned in the Chorvoq reservoir in Tashkent region on September 2 has been recovered. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), the body was found on September 10 at 12:07 by MES divers. The deceased is the eldest son, born in 2006.

Earlier, on September 9, the body of the younger son, born in 2009, was found. The search for the father, born in 1978, is ongoing.

The tragedy occurred on September 2 in Bostanlyk district during a boat trip. One of the family members entered the water to swim but drowned due to the lack of a life jacket. His brother and father jumped in to help, and all three drowned.

Given the scale of the search operation and the depth of the reservoir, a special headquarters has been set up on the shore. Employees of the Emergency Situations Departments of Jizzakh and Syrdarya regions are also involved in the search. According to the MES press service, search efforts are continuing under difficult conditions.
