Regular cargo flights are planned to be launched between Nanjing and Tashkent. The flights are expected to begin on October 12 with a frequency of three times a week.

The relevant agreements were reached during negotiations between Uzbekistan Airports and representatives of Jiangxi International Cargo Airlines and Beijing Capital Airlines. The press service of the Uzbek company clarified that Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province, is a major industrial and logistics center in East China. Airbus A330 cargo aircraft are planned to be used for air communication between the two cities.

Transportation will be carried out in both directions. The main categories of cargo will be equipment and cross-border e-commerce goods.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed commercial and operational issues: airport, ground and warehouse services, refueling, infrastructure and personnel preparation. The launch of the flights will expand the geography of direct cargo air transportation and create additional opportunities for trade and e-commerce.

Earlier it was reported that direct air communication would be launched between Tashkent and Mauritius for the first time. The first flight on the new route is scheduled for December 26.
