A resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 501 has approved the procedure for providing discounts on tuition-contract payments for children of pedagogues studying in state higher education institutions. The news was reported by the Telegram channel "Huquqiy axborot".

Starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, a 30% discount on tuition-contract fees will be introduced annually for children of pedagogues who are enrolled and studying at state higher education institutions. The discount applies to children of pedagogues studying in full-time undergraduate programs at state universities.

If several children of a pedagogue are studying on a tuition-contract basis at state universities, the discount is applied separately for each child. Children of pedagogues submit applications for tuition-contract agreements through the kontrakt.edu.uz system.

During the review process, once the applicant's status as a child of a pedagogue is confirmed through the interoperability platform of the "Digital Government" system, the discount is applied automatically. Applications are reviewed by the responsible organization within 2 working days.

The discount is applied once per academic year for children of pedagogues. If the father or mother of the pedagogue's child is removed from the pedagogue category, the discount will be discontinued starting from the next academic year.
