At the Asian Games in Japan, Uzbekistan's delegation added two more gold medals. Wrestlers Pokizakhon Kamoliddinova and Akhror Ziyodullayev won their final matches to become champions.

In the -78 kg weight category, Pokizakhon Kamoliddinova defeated South Korea's Sumin Mon in the final. This victory once again demonstrated the high potential of Uzbek women's wrestling.

In the men's -81 kg category, Akhror Ziyodullayev overcame Iran's Ramin Ahmadzadeh in the final to claim the gold medal. This success became one of his brightest achievements on the international stage.

Thus, Uzbekistan's gold medal count at the Asian Games has reached 12. In the overall standings, the team has 12 gold, 17 silver, and 12 bronze medals, currently sitting in 4th place.

Earlier, a number of other athletes had won gold medals. Uzbekistan's delegation continues to strengthen its position at the Asian Games.
