Tashkent – Podrobno.uz. In the Namangan region, the Business Ombudsman together with the regional khokimiyat protected the rights of more than 7,000 entrepreneurs by abolishing the practice of double charging at markets.

During inspections, it was found that at the dehkan markets of the region, entrepreneurs were simultaneously charged fees for entry and for conducting trading activities. This procedure did not comply with current legislation and created an excessive financial burden on business representatives.

As a result of joint measures taken, entry and trading fees were brought into compliance with the law, and illegal double charging was stopped. The changes affected 38 dehkan markets in the Namangan region. This allowed reducing entrepreneurs' costs for placing and selling goods, particularly agricultural products, and created conditions for maintaining price stability.

This step was an important contribution to improving the business environment and creating favorable conditions for doing business, which is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy.
