The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel has issued emergency recommendations for its citizens amid escalating tensions in the region.

The embassy strongly advises compatriots to remain vigilant, strictly adhere to safety measures prescribed by Israeli authorities, and stay in specially equipped protected zones if possible until further notice.

The embassy emphasized the importance of carefully following official instructions, limiting unnecessary outdoor movement, and maintaining calm.

Citizens are also advised to temporarily leave Israeli territory until the situation stabilizes. Special attention is drawn to the "Begin" border crossing on the Israeli-Egyptian border, which operates 24/7; Uzbek citizens do not require a visa to enter the Sinai Peninsula.

To expedite border crossing, it is recommended to pay border fees online in advance. Other land crossings are not recommended, and their operating hours may change, so it is necessary to verify current information before planning travel.

The embassy also urges citizens to regularly monitor updates on official resources of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and diplomatic missions abroad, as well as consider warnings and recommendations from Israeli services.
